Meal packages
A meal package is a bundle of prepaid credits you buy up front and spend at the counter whenever you like. It works out cheaper per meal than paying as you go, and it takes the daily decision off your plate entirely.
Packages suit anyone with a routine at South Suburban College — students eating between classes, faculty on campus all week, and departments that would rather settle one invoice than a stack of receipts.
Package pricing will be published alongside the café's opening hours.

The best rate per meal and the package most students end up on. Ten credits covers a typical five-week stretch of weekday lunches.

Two meals a day for people whose schedule runs from an early class straight through the afternoon.

A larger bundle for people on campus every day, with the option to bill a department rather than an individual.
Not sure which one fits? If you eat on campus twice a week, the 5-Meal Package is enough. If you are here for a full weekday timetable, the 10-Meal Package works out cheapest per plate. Departments buying for several people should contact the café team so we can set up billing properly.
Included with every package
Your receipt is emailed the moment you buy, with the package name, credit count and purchase date on it. Nothing to keep in a wallet.
Every package comes with a QR code. Show it at the counter and the cashier scans a credit off — no card, no cash, no account lookup.
Your remaining balance is on the receipt and in your account, and the cashier can tell you what is left any time you ask.
Every package carries a clear expiry printed on the receipt — the end of the semester for student packages, the end of the academic year for faculty. No surprise forfeitures.
Buy in a couple of minutes online. Payment is processed by Toast, never on this website, and the QR code reaches you straight away.
Package questions
Show the QR code from your package at the counter and the cashier scans one credit off your balance. You do not need a physical card, a campus ID or an account lookup — the code on your phone is enough.
Student packages are valid through the end of the semester and faculty packages through the end of the academic year. The expiry date is printed on your receipt when you buy, so there are no surprises. Contact the café team before your expiry if you have a balance left and we will work something out.
Yes. The Faculty Meal Package supports department billing and credits are transferable within a department. For visitor and event use, prepaid meal tickets are usually a better fit — get in touch and we will point you to the right one.
Yes. Meal package purchases earn rewards points like any other order, and redeeming a credit does not affect the points you have already banked. Rewards and packages are designed to stack.
