Catering

Catering by 3D’s Café & Events.

We cook for boardrooms, lecture halls, church basements and back gardens. The same kitchen that runs the campus café handles catering across South Holland and the Chicago Southland — for twelve people or two hundred.

Tell us the date, the headcount and roughly what you have in mind, and you will have a menu and a written quote within one business day.

Our printed catering menu is being finalised — ask for a copy in the form and we will send it over.

Who we cook for

We provide catering for:

Nine kinds of booking we handle regularly. If yours is not on the list, ask anyway — it probably still fits.
  • Board meetings

Breakfast trays, coffee service and working lunches that arrive before the room fills and disappear before the next session.

  • College and university events

Orientation days, award ceremonies, open houses and student programming — at any scale a campus throws at us.

  • Corporate meetings

Boxed lunches for a training day, hot buffets for an all-hands, or a simple pastry-and-coffee table for a morning session.

  • Staff luncheons

Department lunches and end-of-quarter celebrations, plated or buffet, with dietary requirements handled in advance.

  • Community events

Neighbourhood gatherings, church functions and civic programming across South Holland and the wider Southland.

  • Nonprofit events

Fundraising dinners and volunteer appreciation nights, priced with the fact that every dollar is accounted for.

  • Private celebrations

Graduations, birthdays, retirements and family gatherings — full service or drop-off, whichever suits the day.

  • Pop-up events

Market stalls, product launches and one-off activations that need a kitchen behind them for a few hours.

  • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner service

Any meal, any time of day. Multi-day conferences and full-day programmes are routine for us.

How it works

Four steps from enquiry to plates on the table

  1. 1

    Tell us the basics

Date, headcount, location and roughly what you have in mind. The form below takes about two minutes.

  2. 2

We come back with a menu

Within one business day you get a proposed menu and a written quote — no obligation, no pressure.

  3. 3

    We adjust until it fits

Swap dishes, change the service style, adjust for allergies and budget. Nothing is locked until you say so.

  4. 4

    We handle the day

Delivery, setup, service and cleanup as agreed. You run your event; we run the food.

Catering questions

Before you book

  • How far in advance should I book?

Two weeks is comfortable for most events, and a month is better for anything over 100 guests or with a plated service. We will always tell you honestly whether a shorter turnaround is realistic rather than take a booking we cannot do well.

  • Do you cater off campus?

Yes. We cater across South Holland, Oak Forest and the wider Chicago Southland — offices, community centres, places of worship and private homes. Delivery is available and setup and cleanup can be added to any booking.

  • Can you handle allergies and dietary requirements?

Yes, and we would much rather know in advance than on the day. Note them in the form and the kitchen will confirm each affected plate with you before the event. We prepare allergen-sensitive plates separately wherever possible.

  • How does payment work?

You receive a written quote first, and payment is arranged directly with the café team — by invoice for departments and organizations, or by card for private bookings. No payment details are ever collected through this website.
