About this event
Taste of the Southland is our largest cultural food event of the fall. Student organizations partner with the café kitchen to put a dish from their heritage on the line, and every guest gets a tasting card good for six samples across the whole event.
Past dishes have spanned Caribbean, Mexican, Filipino, Nigerian, Polish and Southern American cooking. Organizations wanting to cook should reach out at least a month ahead so the kitchen can help with sourcing, prep space and food safety requirements.
Planning to come? RSVPs are not required, but they help the kitchen plan portions so nobody goes without. It takes about thirty seconds.
